Orlando in February: Weather and What to Pack
February brings some of the mildest days of the year to Orlando. Morning and afternoon temperatures swing more in February than any other month, so a light jacket at rope drop and a t-shirt by 10 a.m. is the plan.

I always tell families visiting in February: dress for the morning, then shed layers once the sun is up. The afternoons are genuinely pleasant, and the rain chance is the lowest of the whole year. If your family has younger kids and you want comfortable walking weather without summer heat, February is one of my favorite months to recommend.

What to Pack in February
Same plan as January: a light jacket for early mornings and evenings, shorts for midday. Pack a poncho anyway. A quick shower does happen, and a poncho from home beats waiting in a gift shop line.

Questions to Ask Before You Book
- Are the kids old enough to handle a midday heat break, or do you need a resort room with a short walk?
- Is there a holiday or event in February that affects crowds or park hours?
- Does anyone in the group have heat or rain sensitivities that change the plan?
